On Wednesday, Oct. 14, Robbert van der Eijk, initiator and director of De IJssel Coatings in Moordrecht, fired the starting gun for VAPRO‘s VVVF paint specialist training program. Three EPI Group colleagues are taking advantage of the opportunity to attend this unique training course. The total of 12 participants will not only get a look behind the scenes at EPI, but also at the other partners of this initiative: De IJssel Coatings, Vlaq Group, Scholz and Tri-Sure. VAPRO paint specialist, consultant and trainer Henri Beerda is responsible for this special training.
By conducting the training at the various participating companies on location, the participants have the opportunity to give a glimpse into each other’s “kitchen” with the aim of learning from each other, sharing knowledge and thus arriving at new ideas and insights to optimize processes, for example.
By training as a paint technician, EPI not only invests in the quality of its own products but also in the sustainable employability of its employees. Increasing knowledge and skills not only ensures professionalism, but also self-reliant and motivated employees who thus make a substantial contribution to the company’s results, such as less waste of raw materials, fewer rejects and improved production results.
