Van den Bos Flowerbulbs specializes in lilies, freesias and callas (white arum lilies) for professional flower and pot plant growers. Because the entrance to the headquarters was no longer representative of the innovative and internationally operating company, interior designer Laura Kleijwegt was asked to restyle the entrance.

Colorfast and crack-bridging

The floor had to be applied over a floor that already had quite a few cracks. In addition, it was important that the floor be colorfast. With these properties, Laura ended up with the EPI Superbase cast floor with EPI Membrane. By adding with EPI Membrane, the floor can accommodate crack bridging up to 2.5 mm. The EPI Superbase PU casting floor is completely colorfast.

Design

The design possibilities of the EPI Superbase cast floor are endless. The floor is available in any RAL color in a blend or solid. In addition, decorative flakes can also be chosen. In this project, the color Autumn was chosen. “Thanks to the ample daylight in the hall, the warm look of this color comes out very well.” says Laura. “The floor is colorfast and thanks to the extra carpet pad I’m sure Van den Bos Flowerbulbs will be fine with this floor for years to come!”
