Mark Peet Visser Gallery Knokke – Superbase

"For us, it is important that the screed also remain white."

Mark Peet Visser was 24 years old when he opened his gallery in ‘s-Hertogenbosch as the youngest art dealer in the Netherlands in 1992. In the spring of 2017, he opened a second branch in Knokke, Belgium; right on the beach.

Sleek, colorfast, comfortable and sound-absorbing

A pure white seamless EPI Superbase cast floor with a matte finish was chosen for the floor. This floor type is ideally suited for high-traffic areas in part because of its sound-absorbing properties. “As a counterpoint to the rough industrial-looking ceiling in the gallery, we were looking for a light floor with a clean look,” says Marcel van Vugt of Mark Peet Visser Gallery. “That intended contrast is exactly what EPI’s white cast floor provides.”

Permanent white

“For us it is important that the floor also remains white,” Marcel continues. “Together with the white walls, a uniform whole is created, creating peace and space. In this way, the works of art exhibited in the Mark Peet Visser Gallery are assured of the full attention of visitors. Now and in the future!”
