Durable and low maintenance

For the new location at Rotterdam Central Station, Sebastiaan Viezee, Tribal Chief at Tribes, was looking for a floor that could withstand a lot of walking in and out, meet the hygiene rules for the hospitality industry and have the right look and feel. Together with the design agency, they ended up with the EPI Superbase 600 NV cast floor.

Stylish

Sebastiaan says, “Tribes distinguishes itself by being different from standard, so special, just like the EPI cast floor.” The looks at Tribes were inspired by the nomadic tribes from New Guinea. The style at Rotterdam Centraal had to match the Huli tribe. So the interior is colorful filled with yellow, red, orange and green. Here the color “Glow” from the EPI Colour Collection fits perfectly!

“At home, I’d like a floor like that too!” continues Sebastiaan. “It’s a real eye-catcher that we get a lot of cool reactions to. The blend in the floor makes it special and ensures that the floor doesn’t look dirty easily. We are definitely interested in an EPI Superbase cast floor for another Tribes location!”
