Sven and Lynn, began remodeling their new home in Capelle aan den IJssel in 2020. Together with family and friends, they first gutted the entire house and then completely redecorated it to their own taste. Lynn, who keeps an interior design blog(www.stylynnterior.com) does know how to decorate a house perfectly and together with Sven, who is very handy, they were able to do a lot themselves.

Choosing a PU cast floor

“We knew pretty quickly that we wanted to go for a PU (polyurethane) cast floor. Compared to other types of flooring, the PU cast floor is a bit more elastic and therefore less prone to cracking and has little to no discoloration. Also, the PU cast floor is suitable for damp areas so we could also take it in the bathroom.”

Seamless and comfortable

Sven and Lynn chose Vagabond, a solid light gray color. They had it applied on the first floor and in the bathroom. What they like about the floor so far is its appearance, that it is hygienic because you have no seams and joints and, above all, it feels comfortable because it conducts underfloor heating well.
